How often should a holding tank be pumped?
Pump a holding tank before it reaches about three-quarters full. A 250-gallon office-trailer tank used by 6 people usually needs weekly pumping; light use may stretch to every two weeks. A weekly route visit is the simplest way to stay ahead of overflows.
