Porta Potty Rental FAQ

43 straight answers to the questions callers ask us most, grouped by topic. Prices are starting points; your quote shows the exact total.

Booking and delivery

How soon can you deliver a porta potty?

Same day when you call (909) 939-1771 by noon for addresses within about 45 miles of Chino. Later calls are delivered the next morning. Farther cities need an early-morning call for same-day delivery.

What hours do you deliver?

Drivers run Monday through Saturday, generally from 7 AM to 5 PM. Early service windows for jobsites can be arranged.

Do I need to be there for delivery?

Nobody needs to be on site. Leave placement notes and a phone number; the driver calls about 30 minutes ahead and sends a photo when done.

How far ahead should I book?

For parties and jobsites, a day or two is plenty. For weddings, restroom trailers and spring or fall Saturdays, book 2 to 4 weeks ahead.

Do you deliver on Sunday?

Drivers do not run Sundays. Sunday events get delivery on Friday or Saturday and pickup on Monday, at no extra charge.

Can you deliver the day before my event?

Day-before delivery is the normal plan, and it costs nothing extra.

What information do you need to book?

The delivery address or ZIP, dates, unit type, number of units, number of guests or workers, and a phone number.

Can I order online?

Send the quote form and we call or text back with an itemized price. Calling is fastest.

Units and features

What comes inside a standard porta potty?

A seat over a sealed tank, a urinal, a hand-sanitizer dispenser, two rolls of toilet paper, a coat hook, a vent stack and a door that locks from inside.

Do your porta potties have a sink?

Standard units have sanitizer only. Deluxe flushing units and VIP cabins have a sink, and a separate two-sink handwashing station can go beside any unit.

Do you have flushable porta potties?

Deluxe units have a foot-pump flush, and VIP cabins and restroom trailers have tank or full flush toilets.

Do you have handicap porta potties?

We rent wheelchair-accessible units with a ground-level floor, wide door, grab bars and turning space inside.

Are the porta potties lit inside at night?

Standard units have a translucent roof for daylight only. For night use, add a battery light or rent a restroom trailer with interior lights.

Can I choose the color?

We stock blue, gray and pink standard units. Ask and we send your color when it is available.

How big is a porta potty?

A standard unit is about 44 inches wide, 47 inches deep and 90 inches tall, and weighs about 170 pounds empty.

How many people can use one porta potty?

About 200 uses between services: roughly 10 workers for a week, or 50 guests for a 4-hour party.

Cleaning and servicing

How often do you clean the porta potty?

Rentals longer than 7 days are serviced once a week. Event units arrive clean and are serviced between days on multi-day events.

What happens during a service visit?

The technician pumps the tank, scrubs the seat, urinal, walls and floor, adds deodorizer, restocks paper and sanitizer and refills handwash water.

Can I add extra cleanings?

One call adds a second weekly service or a one-time visit. Busy summer jobsites often do this.

Will the porta potty smell?

A serviced unit with deodorizer has a mild smell. Shade, the right number of units and on-time service keep it low.

Do I have to be there for service?

You do not. The unit only needs to be unlocked and reachable by the truck on service day.

Pricing and billing

How much is a porta potty rental near Chino?

A standard unit starts at about $165 for an event of up to 7 days, or about $185 per 28-day cycle with weekly service, plus delivery and pickup from $75 near Chino and sales tax.

Is it daily or for the whole rental?

Event pricing covers the whole rental up to 7 days. Longer rentals bill per 28-day cycle.

Do I pay more if I keep it a few extra days?

Within 7 days, no. Past 7 days, the rental moves into a 28-day cycle with weekly service.

If a month has 30 or 31 days, do I pay more?

Billing runs in 28-day cycles, so calendar length does not matter.

Do you prorate if I end early?

Ending mid-cycle has no fee, but the cycle is not prorated.

Is the second month cheaper?

Delivery and pickup are billed once, so each later cycle is the rental rate only.

How do I pay?

By card when you book. Business accounts can apply for net-30 invoicing.

Do you take a deposit?

Most orders need no deposit to hold the date.

Can you give me a price without an address?

A ZIP code is enough for a quote. The exact address is needed to schedule delivery.

Placement, permits and access

Where can the porta potty go?

On a level spot about 4 by 4 feet, reachable through a 48-inch path, within about 50 feet of where the service truck parks.

Can it go on my lawn?

Firm, level grass is fine. Soft or wet lawn may rut, so the driveway may be better.

Can it go in the street?

Only with a city encroachment permit. Most renters keep it on the driveway to avoid one.

What if my site has a locked gate?

Give us the gate code or a contact who can open it, for delivery, every service day and pickup.

Can I lock the unit?

Every unit locks from the inside. Construction units can take your padlock on an exterior hasp, unlocked on service day.

What about low wires or trees?

The truck needs about 11 feet of overhead clearance. Tell us about low wires or branches.

Will my HOA allow it?

Most HOAs allow one during approved work, but may set placement or time limits. Send us the rules and we place the unit to match.

Changes, extensions and pickup

Can I extend my rental?

Call or text before the pickup date. Extending has no fee.

Can I add a unit after delivery?

A second unit can be added any day; delivery is quoted for the extra trip.

What is your cancellation policy?

Free changes and cancellations up to 24 hours before delivery. Inside 24 hours, the delivery charge may apply if the truck is loaded.

Do I have to call for pickup?

Event units are picked up on the date booked. For 28-day rentals, call or text when you are done.

How fast is pickup after I call?

Within 1 to 2 business days.

What if the unit is damaged?

Normal wear is on us. Vandalism, fire, graffiti or tipping by others is billed to the renter, as listed in the rental terms.
