How Much Does a Porta Potty Rental Cost?
Here is what goes into porta potty pricing around Chino and the Inland Empire, what an honest quote looks like line by line, and the starting price for every unit we rent.

What sets the price of a porta potty rental?
Five things set the price of a porta potty rental: the unit type, how long you keep it, how far the site is from Chino, how often it is serviced, and how many units share the truck. Your quote prices each one on its own line so nothing is hidden in a total.
| What changes the price | How it moves the quote |
|---|---|
| Unit type | Standard is the base. Accessible, deluxe flushing, VIP cabins and restroom trailers each step up. |
| Rental length | Up to 7 days is one event price. Longer rentals bill per 28-day cycle with weekly service included. |
| Distance from Chino | Delivery and pickup is one line, lowest inside the Chino Valley and higher toward the 80-mile edge. |
| Service frequency | Weekly service is included on 28-day rentals. Extra visits and between-day event service are added per visit. |
| Quantity and timing | Several units on one truck share the delivery line. Same-day runs far from Chino may add a rush line. |
What does an itemized porta potty quote include?
An itemized porta potty quote lists the unit charge, one delivery-and-pickup charge, the servicing plan, any extras such as handwashing stations, California sales tax and the total. Long rentals also show what each following 28-day cycle will cost, so you can budget past the first month.
- Unit line: unit type, quantity and rental period (event or 28-day cycle).
- Delivery and pickup: one charge for both trips, based on distance.
- Servicing: included weekly visits, plus any extra visits you asked for.
- Extras: handwashing stations, relocation, generator or attendant, if ordered.
- California sales tax on the rental.
- Total, plus what the next 28-day cycle costs if the rental runs long.
How do event pricing and 28-day billing differ?
Event pricing covers one flat rental of up to 7 days, which suits parties, weddings and short jobs. Rentals longer than 7 days switch to 28-day billing cycles that include one service each week. The first cycle carries the delivery and pickup charge; each later cycle is the rental rate alone.
Billing renews every 28 days until you call for pickup. Ending in the middle of a cycle adds no fee, but the cycle is not prorated. Details are in our rental terms.
Which fees should I ask about before booking?
Ask any porta potty company about rush fees, extra service visits, relocation charges, damage policy, card fees and sales tax before booking. We list every one of these on the quote, charge no fuel surcharge and no card fee, and show a rush line only for far same-day runs.
- Extra service visits (busy summer sites)
- Moving a unit to a new spot on the same site
- Damage from vandalism, fire or tipping by others (see terms)
- Rush charge for same-day runs beyond about 20 miles
How can I lower the cost of a porta potty rental?
Lower the cost of a porta potty rental by booking the right count, not extra units; putting all units on one delivery; mixing one deluxe unit near guests with standard units elsewhere; and choosing Friday delivery for weekend events at no extra charge. Long jobs cost less after month one because delivery is billed once.
